A few weeks ago I was invited along to work with Winser London on a shoot at Stoke Park to celebrate the brands 4th birthday I couldn’t have been happier, firstly Stoke Park is my favourite hotel in the UK and Winser London have such fantastic classic and chic pieces, just the style I love.
To make the day even more special my daughter Carlie was also there along with a few other bloggers, it’s always nice to work with Carlie. So we left for our journey to Buckinghamshire together, it couldn’t have been a better day the sun was shining and we had blue skies all day, it was about 27 degrees.
We left first thing and as it was so warm had the roof down on the car which may seem totally irrelevant until we arrived and both Carlie and I looked at each other and burst out laughing, it was ironic that we had turn’t up at Stoke Park both looking like Bridget Jones just as she had done in the film with Daniel.
Everything had been planned out for us, we first had refreshments and were greeted by our hair and makeup stylists. Make up for me is a little bit of an issue, I really don’t wear a lot but the lovely Linda Brown using Delilah Cosmetics assured me she would just use a little. Delilah isn’t a brand I had heard of before, despite me being very nervous and repeatedly saying “Not a lot now! “ I was very happy with the final result. Hair pinned and spruced up we were ready to shoot the outfits I had chosen from Winser London current collection.
Winser London is a brand that has been around since 2013 but is not that well know on the high street, it was set up by Kim Winser. Kim has had leading roles within companies such as Marks & Spencer, Pringle of Scotland, Aquascutum and was also an adviser to Natalie Massenet at Net-a-Porter. I have worked with Winser London before and featured a few of their pieces in my travel reviews, although never really experienced the more formal range of suits.
Both suits I loved but I must say my favourite had to be my first look, the Lauren tailored blazer with the Pull on Tapered leg trousers, I loved the zips meaning you could wear them a number of different ways.
The double breasted blazer was soft and sexy, yet had the masculine good looks of classic tailoring, the fab side pockets gave it that extra edge on a normal blazer style. You could wear it all year round as a beautiful suit or dressed down with a classic pair of Levis 501s and a white T shirt.
My second outfit was the tweed 2 piece, it was stunning and felt very Chanel, it can also be purchased separately and would work well dressed up or down also, its fit was amazing and tailored perfectly.
My third outfit was a pair of white stretch jeans and an amazing navy Yasmin Le Bon Merino Wool ‘Y’ stitch jumper coat, I loved this so much I wanted to take it home so comfortable and easy to wear.
Winser London is a stylish yet very versatile women clothing range that I will most certainly be wearing more of and as you can see can be worn by all ages.
