After a wonderful four nights at Skyfall thanks to Asian Luxury Villas we really did not want to leave, the staff had been amazing and we were loving everything about the place. We packed up reluctantly which took me all of ten minutes eight of those were spent getting my camera, laptop and lenses together, the clothes were just thrown in a suitcase, I love the laid back way of life in Thailand, no need to dress up which makes packing so easy. We jumped on our moped and drove just two mins up the road and was told “here we are” when they said it was two minutes away they were not joking, we could see Skyfall from the new villa.
Baan Bon Khao is situated at a sightly different angle overlooking Choeng Mon beach, giving us a wonderful 270 panoramic view of the Adaman sea which proved to be super cool of an evening. Choeng Mon beach is a small bay with beautiful white sands making it very family friendly. If you are a watersport lover there’s a variety on offer but still perfect for anyone looking for a chilled laid back afternoon watching the world go by and sipping on a cocktail or a cold bottle of Chang. This beach was one of my favourites while on Samui because of its relaxed vibe and the fact it wasn’t crowded at all.
Choeng Mon has some lovely restaurants and bars offering a selection of foods for everyones tastes.
This villa had a totally different feel with its crisp modern contemporary interior design, its open-plan living area and kitchen, leading onto a huge panoramic balcony and bar area, overlooking the 25 meter infinity pool. The whole living area floor is surrounded by folding full glass doors providing the villa with loads of natural light. Baan Bon Khao has two master suites and four large double bedrooms, all with flat screen TVs, air conditioning, roof fans, en-suite bathrooms, private terraces and of course wonderful ocean views, what could be better. With a pool room, TV room and beautiful gardens there is always something to do if you choose to spend the day chilling by the pool.
The luxurious villa is staffed full time and can arrange a private chef. Located just 1.2 miles from Choeng Mon beach it makes this property again a great location for those who wish to have both the privacy of their own villa and the option to explore. Just ten minutes from the airport is always a delight for me as I’m not to keen after a long flight of long transfers.
