This recipe has a twist on the original 1:1:1 cocktail (equal parts gin, vermouth, and Campari), The ratio has been tweaked for this bitter-sweet Italian classic. This is one of my favourite cocktails.



1½ ounces gin

1 ounce Carpano Antica Formula vermouth

¾ ounce Campari

1 orange


Stir gin, vermouth, and Campari in an ice-filled mixing glass until very cold, about 30 seconds. Strain cocktail through a strainer or a slotted spoon into an ice-filled glass.

Using a small serrated knife, remove a 1″ strip of peel from the orange and add to this delicious cocktail. pith is okay); it shoul
