So its nearly that time again and I have to leave, the traveller in me finds this bit a little upsetting as I enjoy the sunshine so much, returning to the UK fills me with dread not because our lovely country has nothing to offer but because our weather can be so depressing. If only we could have a few more spring like sunny days, I have not even checked the weather for home as I can only imagine it will be gloomy as per normal fingers crossed Im wrong.

I have been enjoying the morning sunshine and having my breakfast on the balcony of this lovely small family hotel. I always get up early, as I sit and watch the sun rise, I notice the family working together to get ready for the day, it is lovely to watch them all rallying together.

To summarise my amazing trip, it has been a lovely week away and I would recommend this island to couples, singles and families. A lot would depend on where you was staying of course, I would not personally stay on the strip with children, its more of a party area but still interesting to explore on the odd night out. I would suggest if you have small children or you are looking for a more quieter holiday that you research your hotel a little. Hotel Pallas would on the other hand be suitable to everyone.

Everyone I have spoken to during my stay has loved the island and I have heard nothing but positive comments which is very unusual, you normally hear someone moaning about something, food, staff, beds but not this time, Greece certainly is an exception.

Greece has a lot to offer to everyone and is such a chilled out place, it’s a beautiful country with its many islands and I intend to visit them all, Santorini is next for my Greek islands, then Cephalonia so keep watching.
