So I flew back from Marrakech and was in my own bed for one night, I got a phone call to say I had a last minute trip which was urgent I had to attend in Rome! What is a girl to do ? Well I couldn’t refuse could I ?

So quickly throwing a few things in a over night bag I was off again to the airport ,2 hours and 55 mins later and Im here, I hop in a taxi and in 40 mins I have arrived.

I am staying at Hotel Residenza Napoleone III for just one night, I wish I could stay here for ever, but unfortunately I am here on other business and this is just my base for the night, but I will be back.

This hotel is set in a 16th-century palace where Napoleon III once resided, this historic posh hotel is 700 m from Spagna metro and 9 minutes’ walk from the Pantheon.

There are 2 refined apartments, both with flat-screen TVs, free Wi-Fi and minibars; 1 apartment is ornate in style, with oil paintings, 16th-century tapestries and antique furnishings, plus a silk-draped canopy bed. It also comes with 2 reception rooms and a kitchenette. The other unit features neutral tones and a living room with plush seating, as well as a roof garden overlooking the city.

When I arrive it’s like being transported back to the 18th century and being allowed to take along all the comforts of modernity, this hotel is pure luxury and such a shame I only get to stay one night. Everything about this place is beautiful. I am here to work, so after a lovey breakfast off I go, oh how I wish I could just stay in bed.

5 Star Pure Luxury.
