Situated on the banks of the river Rhine, hotel Les Trois Rois has a central but quiet location in the old town which gives hotel guests the perfect base from which to explore the city.
Les Trois Rois is the cities oldest and most luxurious hotel with an impressive roster of former guests including Voltaire, Dickens, Picasso, the Dalai Lama, Queen Elizabeth and Napoleon after whom the hotel has named one of their impressive suites.
This historic hotel has a contemporary design which lends to the inviting and cosy feeling it radiates whilst at the same time dark wood paneling, antique furniture and gold trimmings transport you back in time to another era.
The rooms are beautifully furnished with unique finishes and precious objects d’art and designed in either neo – classic or art deco style enhancing the pampering spirit of the hotel. We stayed in a lavish red hued suite on the top floor of the hotel that offered beautiful views across the River Rhine, which is never more beautiful than at night.
There are a plethora of exciting restaurants to visit in the city, one of which is the restaurants own Cheval Blanc Gourmet Restaurant with enticing creations of French haute cuisine with a Mediterranean twist. The extensive wine list features around 700 world-class wines, including some rare bottles as well as a wide selection of wines from the Chateau Chevel Blanc, after which the restaurant is named.
