It has been a busy few months and I have enjoyed every bit of it. My trips so far this year have been some of the best I have been on for a long time. South Africa spoilt me a little with Safari on the Nambiti, staying at one of my favourite hotels in Marrakech certainly put a smile on my face. The thing is I’m just like most people out there, I know what I like and this is what makes it hard to please me, I have expectations and these all need to be met for me to be totally happy. I have been doing this job for quite a few years now and feel as if I can offer my knowledge as a travel advisor to help you get what it is you’re looking for from a holiday.
I travelled a little further a field, I’m now in Tulum, I have never been to Mexico before and I am staying in what is said to be the new Tulum in a private villa .
So we left Gatwick on Tuesday 21st and I’m afraid I have been so chilled out I just haven’t been bothered to blog! As terrible as that may sound I really could not bring myself to work. However I have had a chance to chill and I am back to the laptop. The flight to Cancun was 10 hours and travelling on Virgin helped to pass away the time, good films free drink and edible food.
We were greeted at Cancun airport by drivers sent to us by Best Riviera Maya Rentals a local business who offer luxury vacation rentals in Tulum and the Riviera Maya, these guys look after the property we are staying in here.
Ok, to the property well it’s a fantastic place with stunning features every little detail has been thought of. I could go on and on forever but I don’t want to use up too much of my time here in Tulum, I will post the whole review when I return to the UK. I’ve visited a few beaches since I arrived and every one of them is like paradise, white sands and wonderful vibes, chilled and relaxing. The one thing I have noticed about Tulum is the laid back way of life, we have been riding round on bikes and it has been a total scream, we just ride to the beach, chill have a few beers then back on the bike and off to the next place. When we get hot we stop have another beer and watch the world go by.
The weather here has been perfect so far with a lovely light breeze, with nearly 12 hours of sunshine this time of year I will be coming back here again, so for now I’m off to explore a little more of Tulum, bye for now.
