Ok so I have arrived back to England and I was pleased to see the sun was out to great me when I landed. As I was driving back in the taxi from the airport I realised that I’ve yet again been spoilt with food and drink and have indulged a little too much, in my job travelling for several months of the year I often overdo it with rich food and alcohol ,off again in 2 weeks I have decided that I need to give my liver a healthy kick-start. So after a little research as to what this vital organ is responsible for, it would seem that if I was to adjust my diet a little over the next couple of weeks this could help flush out toxins and generally cleanse my body.
Here are a few detoxifying foods you can add into your diet to give your liver a helping hand.

Beetroots and Carrots are both extremely high in plant-flavonoids and beta-carotene, eating both beets and carrots can help stimulate and improve overall liver function.Add beetroot to salads, carrots can be roasted or used raw in salads.

Cruciferous Vegetables like broccoli and cauliflower will increase the amount of glucosinolate in your system, which wiadding to enzyme production in the liver. These natural enzymes help flush out carcinogens and other toxins from our bodies, which significantly lowers our risk of cancer.
