BBC TV’s ever-popular Antiques Roadshow ​will be ​stopping off in Kent on its 2016 tour of the country with a visit to historic National Trust property Ightham Mote.

The TV team will be at the medieval manor house, near Sevenoaks, on 16th June.

Everyone is welcome to this great, free day out and no pre-registration, tickets or appointments are required​ but be prepared it is going to be busy.

Back in ​2015 almost 35,000 people attended an Antiques Roadshow filming day.

​In November the show visited Walmer Castle here in Kent and proved to be the highest rated episode in three years as 6.8 million viewers tuned in.

​There will be ​more than 30 experts on hand to offer advice and valuations to visitors, who are invited to raid their attics and bring along their family heirlooms, household treasures and boot sale finds.
