The weather here has been amazing, yesterday we all went out on boats for a few hours, the prices vary from one place to another, like most things in Zante, quads, bikes etc, but they are very reasonably priced, we paid 110 Euros per boat and we had six people on each boat which worked out quite cheap.

After exploring the others had a relax on the beach and I decided to have a drive around the island in my lovely Colt convertible kindly loaned to me by Giant Rentals Zante, I am always a little concerned when hiring cars in Greece as they laws for on road requirements never quite seem to be the same as in the UK, in fact I am not sure they actually exist, but this company are great, safe clean cars just what you want when driving around the island.

What can I tell you about the island? Where to begin there is a lot to see from the wonderful turtles to the amazing views overlooking the ship wreck, I love all of Greece, but the strip its self is not for me, although it has not been a problem at all where we are staying as we are just far enough away from the youngsters partying on the island. This island really does cater for all ages and this hotel well it really should be a 4 star not a 3 star, it is run by two families who put their heart and souls into it and really make you feel welcome, the buffet food is of high standard, the grounds are maintained daily and kept beautifully.

The families have spent a lot of time and money bringing this hotel up to a good standard during some very hard times in Greece recently but they have not cut any corners. There is entertainment put on daily by the amazing Tom who is undoubtably a godsend to the hotel always smiling and encouraging everyone to take part.

This hotel is a typical Greek hotel with a little bit extra, very reasonably priced for an all inclusive hotel, some of the people we have spoken to have been coming here for over sixteen years, I on the other hand would happily come back as it really is a lovely well looked after hotel, but I am off again with many more places left on my bucket list to visit
