My trip so far had been absolutely amazing and both properties had been superb, offering me different things yet both I’d enjoyed immensely. It was time to move from Samui Summit Estate and head to the beach. I was totally relaxed and the move between villas had been easy, thats whats great about Thailand you don’t need to pack too much as the way of life is so laid back, to be honest it’s so warm of an evening, the less you wear the better. So we gathered our belongings together and set off to property number three the last part of my trip. Just a ten minute drive towards Fishermans village and we had arrived at Ban Haad Sai, we’d gone past this property a dozen times and not even known it was there.

We walked through two large wooden gates and there in front of my eyes was an amazing garden full of beautiful plants and flowers with a path which lead to “Paradise”.  It was such a surprise to have found this stunning beach villa sitting behind the gates just feet from the road, what was more surprising was you couldn’t hear any traffic, just the noise of the sea and the palm trees blowing in the breeze. The property opened directly on to a 3km white sand beach from your own private pool and lawn area, situated perfectly in a bay from where you could see the golden Big Buddha Temple. The views were superb and it really did look like paradise.

Ban Haad Sai gives you an on the beach experience with the privacy of your own exclusive private holiday destination, perfect for those who like to people watch but from a distance. You can sit by your own pool and still go for a stroll along the beautiful white sandy beach, perfect. I like the peace and quiet and just chilling but I need to still have the option to go and explore. Koh Samui has so much to see and two weeks on the island really was not long enough at all. The choice of local restaurants in the area is vast and you are never stuck for choice. There are small bars scattered everywhere and the locals are always pleased to see you.

Koh Samui

Ban Haad Sai has 7 air-conditioned bedrooms (4 doubles and 3 twins), 6 with en-suite bathrooms making this property ideal for larger groups who like to have their own privacy from time to time. The set up of this villa reminds me of a luxury boutique hotel and has everything you could possibly desire without being around strangers. There are two master bedrooms overlooking the deck and beach, each with beautiful bathrooms. Both have a secluded outdoor Balinese style bath and shower.

The property has a fully fitted kitchen and a Thai style outdoor kitchen. There’s a large dining room with seating for 14 people making the perfect setting for a special occasion dinner giving you views of the amazing sunsets Koh Samui has to offer.

This villa would be perfect for a special birthday party, wedding or wedding reception as its right on the beach. There is a dedicated bar area in the lounge which can be staffed on request. Ban Haad Sai even has its own fully equipped gym. Three resident full time staff are at hand to cater for your every need and can organise that romantic candle-lit beach dinner, a garden BBQ party or an indoor dinner party prepared by the villa’s qualified Thai Chef.  You really don’t have to worry about anything, if you would like a day trip around the island or to hire some bikes or get a fresh supply of coconuts in, all you have to do is ask and the staff are happy to assist.

What I personally loved about Ban Haad Sai was  I could go walking along the beach and have lunch or dinner at one of the restaurants and bars, then return for a nightcap and look out at the stars in the luxury of this amazing villa. Ban Haad Sai’s walled compound provides seclusion and privacy yet still has a wide range of shops, restaurants and bars and other services are all within easy walking distance.

So my trip had come to an end, my two weeks were over and I really did not want to leave. My previous trip to Thailand I had enjoyed but staying in a hotel really wasn’t for me, the last two weeks had made me realise this.  All of Asian Luxury villas were fantastic but I must confess I loved waking up to the sound of the beach so for me this villas was my favourite although if I could do it all over again I would stay at them all.

Thank you Asian Luxury Villas for making my trip back to Thailand so special.
