We had a wonderful day spent at Mykonos Grand resort today, our car picked us up at lunchtime and we were shown around the amazing hotel, elegantly designed and certainly in the top end of Mykonos hotels, we are going to have to review the hotel and facilities further to get a full impression but what we have seen so far looks lovely.

We were then shown to our sun loungers and offered cocktails and lunch yet again we went for the Greek salad and a herring based snack which we shared and it was delightful.

We had a little visitor who did not bother us, but I am afraid I could not resist feeding to I think the disgust of some of the other guests, I am such a softy when it comes to animals, As you can see after a quick bite he was settled and bathing in the sun with us, cutie isn’t he?

We used the spa facilities for a quick freshen up and then off to dinner we went, just in time to see the sunset, the view is amazing. The team in the restaurant were great, helping us choose our wine and a selection of starters.

Rapsani Grand Reserve is among the most acclaimed wines of Greece worldwide. The Rapsani vineyards extend in the southern slopes of Mount Olympus, known as the Mountain of the gods and it sure does taste delicious.

The food not only looks amazing it tastes amazing and there was just the right amount.

I can’t resist a lobster spaghetti and this one certainly was good!

The hotel itself may seem large on first impression but you don’t feel over looked or crowded this really is a beautiful hotel and restaurant and we hope to return again soon and stay within the luxuries grounds of Mykonos Grand Resort and Spa.
